The Amazon Fire Kindle Tablet is this year’s device de jour, selling over 4 million units in the last 2 months if rumors are anything to go by.
With a portable 7 inch touch screen (said to be responsible for a large proportion of the device’s production cost) and a $199 price point the Kindle Fire offers you multi media on the go without the outlay of larger, more expensive tablets.
However there have been tablets this size before and at comparable price points. What sets the Amazon Kindle Fire apart is the Operating system (Android based) and it’s ease of integration with the Amazon sales funnel.
The funnel goes something like this:
- Amazon is a retail store.
- They want you to buy.
- They want you to buy alot.
- They want you to buy everything you could ever want.
- So they make it easy, accessible and they offer many, many options.
- Enter the Kindle -An affordable tool to display and use their products.
Amazon’s strategy and the tablet itself seems to work…check out the reviews so far.
Amazon Fire Review Part 2
As pointed out in part one of this series of articles we decided to feature the best Amazon Kindle Fire review videos we could find.
Personally making videos isn’t my thing. I’ve done it before, for myself and others, and I am humble enough to say that I suck at it.
So instead of making you endure my own video creation I’ve chosen the best videos other people have created…other expert people.
This video is by MobileTechReview and is a 20 minute look into the Amazon Kindle Fire.
It is professionally produced and the short version is “they like it”.
You can watch their review below or check out the 2000 or so reviews on Amazon’s website (already!).
